Taking the scenic routes also means taking the narrow roads and a lot of time. Not only is it mountainous but the road frequently narrows to single lane. This takes lot of concentration and as it turns out being right hand drive actually makes it easier to hug the road edge. Twice we have had to fold in the side mirror in order to get past a bus or such like. The weather continues unseasonably fine and our luck will have to end sometime.
