Gin Gin, St Lawrence, Flaggy Rock, Bowen, Townsville, Undarra Lava Tubes, Georgetown, Cobbold Gorge, Forsayth, Einasleigh, Mount Surprise, Innot Hot Springs, Atherton, Mareeba, Cooktown via the western route, then south via the Bloomfield Road to Cape Tribulation, Daintree, Newell Beach, Mossman, Kuranda, Lake Eacham, Wallaman Falls, Ravenswood, Burdekin Dam then south to Mount Coolon, Lake Elphinstone, Lake Monduran, Bundeberg and home
undarra lava tubes
Went west from Townsville along the Hervey's Range Development Road - crossing the upper reaches of the Burdekin River along the way. Refuelled at The Lynd Junction and continued north on the Gregory Development Road before turning west on the Gulf Development Road for Undarra.
