One of Galicia's capitals with a large number of bridges crossing the River Mino as it winds it way through this hilly city. The oldest bridge, Ponte Romano is from 13th century, but on Roman foundations and the newest is Ponte Milenio, a futuristic road bridge with a huge undulating pedestrian loop for great views.
