The next large step is the vinyl infill between walls and roof. This will have zippered screened windows (2 each side & one each end). These windows are the major source of light and air - the 3 small windows in the fixed walls are largely cosmetic. We were concerned that a single layer of vinyl would be too thin and waste the insulation benefit of the foam filled fibreglass walls.
The subject was broached with the upholsterer - this must have been a choice before? Anyway he has found some thin foam used by a nearby business who make caravan covers. They sew a thin layer of insulation into their covers to provide hail protection.
So he has made a quick sample to see if it works. Of course we need to make sure that it will fold inwards as the roof comes down.
